CARE WORKER - FLEXIBLE HOURS

​The role of a Care Worker at Hertsmere Valley Care Services is varied and largely depends on the customer you’ll be working with. Everything we do is designed to help our customers live happy, independent lives. We are looking for dedicated & caring people who wish to work in social care providing care & support services to Adults, the Elderly, and People with Disabilities living in their own homes.
Duties Include:

We aim to:

  • Washing and Dressing

  • Feeding

  • Toileting

  • Bed Making

  • Generally assisting with patients overall comfort

  • Providing personal care duties

  • Administering medication

  • Manual handling, using equipment where required

  • Promoting customer health and wel;lbeing, enabling them to kive their life to the full

  • Flexibly work a range of shift patterns including alternate weekends

  • A large part og their daily lives


We currently have posts for Full-time, Part-time, Evening & Weekend Care Staff and looking for care workers who can work within the hours that our clients need your help which is generally:

Work Patterns Available:


  • Morning visits from 7am - 10am

  • Lunch visits 12 noon - 2pm

  • Teatime visits 4pm - 6pm

  • Put to bed 7pm - 10pm

  • 7 days a week 365 days a year

  • Experience is not essential as full training & ongoing support is provided. We offer competitive rates of pay,
